Monica Lewinsky has faced the unimaginable in her life, and survived it. As a young woman, she was humiliated, embarrassed, and discredited in the most public way possible by the Clintons and their lapdogs in the media. We all make mistakes in life, but few have had their mistakes openly displayed in such a cruel way.
Now, twenty years later, Lewinsky wants to be known not as a victim, but as a survivor.
Bill Clinton was a predator, but he couldn’t have done it without the support of his wife Hillary, and his sycophantic enablers in the Democrat Party and the press. Monica endured years of being labeled with words that I don’t feel repeating in mixed company. Maybe I’m old-fashioned, but that’s unacceptable – and disgusting. (Read More…)
The Mueller investigation isn’t over yet, although perhaps it should be. In the meantime, special prosecutor Mueller has subpoenaed Steve Bannon to testify before a grand jury. Bannon will be the first known member of Trump’s inner circle to have received a subpoena from the Mueller team.
It’s hard to say what Mueller is up to. Maybe he believes that the recent public split between Trump and Bannon will have Bannon looking for revenge. Or maybe he’s just blindly casting a line and hoping some sucker will bite. One thing’s for certain — the investigation has gone on too long without Mueller showing any evidence of wrongdoing. It’s time for him to stop fishing and start dishing. (Read More…)
John McCain is an American hero, and like all veterans, he deserves our gratitude for his service. That said, McCain is doing permanent damage to his legacy by serving as a flunky for the Democrat party and the liberal media. His efforts to cozy up to the left are a shameful example of the corruption of a once fiercely independent man.
In the latest example of this awful trend, McCain wrote an op-ed for the Washington Post in which he all but compared Trump to dictators that imprison and kill journalists. That’s a hard argument to make, considering that Trump has never imprisoned or killed journalists. But according to McCain, by distributing “fake news” awards, Trump falls into the same category as the murderous regimes in Turkey, Russia, and Vietnam.
That’s a pathetic argument. But McCain isn’t trying to make sense — he’s trying to get fawning press coverage. Mainstream journalists at CNN and the Washington Post love to pretend that they are tragic figures facing oppression. It’s almost like they see themselves as the heroes of a heart-pounding made-for-TV drama in which they save the world from evil Republicans. Trust me WaPo, no one in middle America sees you that way. All they see is a herd of viciously partisan hacks who will do anything to push their agenda on the rest of us.
And John McCain? You were elected to represent the people, not the media. If you can’t do that, it’s time to step down. (Read More…)
Bitterness isn’t a good look on anyone, but Megyn Kelly can’t seem to help herself. Ever since her primary debate run-in with then-candidate Trump, Kelly has taken every opportunity to swipe at Trump.
This week, that took the form of Kelly devoting her show to talking about Trump’s alleged affair with an adult film star. Putting aside the veracity of those allegations, it’s just not a good strategy for Kelly. She used to be a talented interviewer, with a unique take on conservative politics. Now, she just seems obsessed with bringing Trump down, just like the rest of the media. (Read More…)
George Soros is an evil man, who also happens to be a brilliant strategist. He recently let slip his perspective on the great conflict of our times, and to no one’s surprise, he’s convinced that “nationalism” is the enemy.
Of course when he says nationalism, what he’s really attacking is the idea that a country should be able to decide its own fate, free from the tyranny of unelected globalist bureaucrats at the UN or EU. As a strategy for billionaires like Soros though, globalism and open borders make perfect sense — lots of cheap labor and consequences that never affect the gated communities of the ultra-rich. For the rest of us, the picture isn’t so rosy. (Read More…)
This is honestly one of the most disgusting stories I’ve ever seen. A liberal college professor didn’t like what conservative writer Allie Stuckey had to say on Twitter — so he publicly announced in a tweet that he was wishing her “a #metoo moment.”
That’s right. A male, liberal professor wished that a young conservative woman would be sexually harassed, assaulted, or even raped for expressing her opinion. “Maybe then you wouldn’t be so insensitive,” he wrote. This is beyond vile. (Read More…)
