Former President Donald Trump told Breitbart News during an exclusive interview that if the U.S. wants to make its elections safer, it should adopt all paper ballots, ban absentee voting except for the military and the shut in, and require voter ID of all voters.
Trump also said he didn’t think Georgia’s new voter law was strong enough and favored the one recently adopted by Texas. “It’s better than it was, but it’s not strong.”
Once again, Trump brought up the subject of the 2020 election and what he saw as voter fraud in that election.
One group, True the Vote, said it would be releasing cell phone data showing ballot trafficking in Georgia, that is, a few individuals traveling to different ballot drop boxes multiple times before the election, which is illegal. Trump said the data was a “big deal,” and also referenced various election audits in swing states.
He also spoke about the 15 million unaccounted-for mail-in ballots reported by watchdog group Public Interest Legal Foundation (PILF). “That’s the election right there,” Trump said.
