BREAKING: Chauvin Trial REVERSAL – Announcement Shocks Dems…

The lawyer for Derek Chauvin, who was convicted in the killing of George Floyd, has requested a retrial in the case.

Citing numerous grounds including “jury misconduct” and “intimidation,” the Defense attorney made a case that the verdict was not proper.

According to Breitbart News, “Eric Nelson, Chauvin’s legal counsel, argued juror misconduct and pretrial publicity in part led to the former Minneapolis police officer’s conviction for second- and third-degree murder and second-degree manslaughter in George Floyd’s death last year.”

“The publicity here was so pervasive and so prejudicial before and during this trial that it amounted to a structural defect in the proceedings,” said Nelson in submitted filings.

  2. He did NOT kill George Floyd. The Fentanyl and speed in his system did! As the coroner said, “if he had been at home, we would have called this death the result of a drug overdose.” There were NO bruises, marks or striations in Floyd’s neck (under the skin) from pressure on his neck. Why was the jury not presented with this report that completely exonerated Chauvin? Oh yes, because Chauvin is white and Floyd was Black. It is the BLM and Antifa and Waters, etc. who are racist! More whites are killed by police than Blacks. Get a grip, people, do your homework!

  3. I do not know if he killed George Floyd or not but I do know that he had no business keeping his knee on the neck like he did. He could have very well contributed to the death and should be punished for his actions.

    1. Hey Imrretired, how do you know what he should have done or not. Are you an expert. He didn’t contribute to his death. the man was a drug addict full of fentanyl and meths. Plus he had many health issues.

  4. Let’s be real. If it was a black man on trial for doing the same thing, there would be liberal outrage around the country. “He was a criminal, he was on drugs, he resisted arrest, the police have always been after him, etc, etc.”
Violate the law, the police get involved. Follow the rules and laws and you won’t be in law enforcement sight. Can some tell me how many of the black people allegedly killed by police this year were law abiding citizens. Go to another country, China, Russia, middle east countries and see what happens to you when you violate the rules and laws.

  5. A totalitarian-like show trial.
Chauvin should never have been charged, and I am ashamed of the way the American judicial system responded. Now the Feds want to pile on.
Notice to Benjamin Franklin, we have been unable to keep the Republic, the question
    is can we regain it.
