Despite objections from the U.S. State Department and potential national security concerns, the Democrats are forcing Trump’s ambassador to the EU to testify before Congress in the impeachment inquiry of President Donald Trump.

His lawyers have confirmed that Gordon Sondland will indeed testify as requested. He is expected to testify next Thursday at noon eastern time.

His lawyers did however confirm that he will not be sharing requested documents because he is not authorized to do so.

Many people consider Sondland, who contributed to Trump’s inaugural committee, to be a Trump loyalist. It is not likely that he will intentionally give up any information that could hurt the President.

Of course, that will not stop Pelosi and her friends in the House from misconstruing text messages and other “evidence” in an attempt to take down Trump.

This is just further proof that Democrats will do absolutely anything — including embarrassing the United States by dragging our ambassadors before congressional inquisitions, in any attempt to undo the 2016 election. The Democrats clearly believe that the American people made a mistake and cannot be trusted with voting. We should not forget that in 2020.
