Trump says Soleimani targeted to stop a war
While the national news media remains obsessed with President Donald Trump and hopes to convince the American public that he put us all in danger when he ordered the drone strike that killed Iranian General Qasem Soleimani, he just exposed the truth.
“Last night at my direction, the United States military successfully executed a flawless precision strike that killed the number one terrorist anywhere in the world, Qasem Soleimani,” Trump confirmed.
But Trump denied reports that it would start a war. “We took action last night to stop a war, we did not take action to start a war,” he continued.
Trump said it was a justified strike because Soleimani was planning “imminent and sinister attacks” against U.S. interests in the region. Soleimani, it was already known, was responsible for most roadside attacks against U.S. troops in Iraq, leading to the deaths of hundreds of U.S. soldiers over the last several years.
“We caught him in the act and terminated him,” Trump said.
Thank you, President Trump. Reasonable people realize that it had to be done, and that Iran would never get into a direct war with the United States because we would crush them. The American people are now far safer because General Qasem Soleimani is dead, and the world itself is a better, safer place.
