Trump Keeps Immigration Promise, 95 Percent Of Border Crossers Immediately Deported

Whatever the nay-sayers allege against President Donald Trump, they can’t say he hasn’t been behind a massive turn around on immigration reform since the virtually open door policy of the Obama administration.

The newest numbers stunningly show Trump has kept his promise to fight illegal immigration.

“About 95 percent of border crossers apprehended by United States Border Patrol agents are being instantly deported to their native countries,” according to Breitbart News.

The newest order, Title 42, allows the U.S. Borders and Customs Patrol to return border crossers immediately due to health concerns. This was made possible in part because of an Center for Disease Control and Prevention order.

BCP Commissioner Mark Morgan said the Title 42 is the driving force behind returning illegals “expeditiously to their country.”

Early on, after [the CDC] order, we saw those trying to illegally enter our country drop by more than 50 percent from our pre-COVID numbers. Rather than introducing the illegal aliens into our facilities, increasing the exposure risk to our workforce and our country, CBP because of this order is returning approximately 95 percent of those we encounter expeditiously to their country of last transit.
