The main stream media lost what was left of their collective minds when President Donald Trump implied at a rally that he officially requested a reduction in coronavirus testing because it would be good for the country. However, a top medical official has confirmed Trump did not make such a request.
Seema Verma, the administrator for the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), told Breitbart “Trump never ordered reductions or slowdowns of testing for coronavirus.”
The remarks in question came from Trump during his rally in Oklahoma, “When you do testing to that extent, you’re going to find more people, you’re going to find more cases. So I said to my people, ‘Slow the testing down, please.’ They test and they test.”
Verma was asked by Breitbart if Trump’s comments were “trash talk” or should they be taken literally.
“Absolutely not,” Verma said. “The president has not given that directive to anybody on his team. I think the point that he was making is that as you do more testing, you’re going to find more cases.”
