In the next month, the United States Supreme Court will decide June Medical Services, LLC v. Russo, a case with massive implications on the national debate over the right to life.
According to Washington Examiner, “the imminent ruling has the potential to reshape the future of abortion industry litigation, advancing the pro-life movement in one of the most significant ways since Roe v. Wade.”
The suit revolves around Louisiana regulation aimed at protecting the health and lives of young female medical patients.
Louisiana’s Unsafe Abortion Protection Act closed a loophole in requiring abortion providers to hold admitting privileges at a hospital within 30 miles of their practice. However, the pro-abortion lobby sued immediately to have it recalled.
