Supreme Court Blocks Order Requiring DOJ To Turn Over Docs

The United States Supreme Court just blocked enforcement of a lower court’s order to release “grand jury materials from former Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 election and alleged Trump campaign collusion in those efforts.”

A lower court previously ordered the documents be released as part of the inquiry into Donald Trump’s impeachment. However, as Nancy Pelosi hates to acknowledge, President Trump has already been acquitted of any pending articles of impeachment.

Justice Roberts penned the decision that blocked the order and requested the House Judiciary Committee, currently led by Democrat Jerry Nadler, provide arguments why the unredacted Mueller documents should be turned over by the May 18 deadline.

Once the court hears back from Nadler and the committee, it will make a final decision.
