Senate probing whether Ukrainian oil company leveraged Biden family for access
The bad news just keeps on coming for former Vice President Joe Biden.
Last week it was news that his poll numbers are continuing to stagnate against a surging Elizabeth Warren. Now, it has been revealed that the U.S. Senate is probing whether a Ukrainian oil and gas company, Burisma, used their access to Hunter Biden to get access to the U.S. State Department.
In a letter to Secretary Pompeo, Chuck Grassley and Ron Johnson, both Senate committee chairmen, requested information about the Bidens’ handling of this affair, including records pertaining to Hunter Biden, John Kerry, and then-Vice President Biden.
This further complicates things for the Bidens, who clearly had hoped that the Ukraine scandal would hurt Trump rather than them.
This is yet another example of smoke when it comes to corruption in the Obama administration. And of course where there’s smoke, there’s usually fire.
We may never know the truth about the level of corruption between the Biden family and foreign governments, including Ukraine — and even worse, our adversary the Chinese.
But one thing we do know is that the Bidens are cozy with, and profiting from, their relationships with foreign officials. That ought to worry every single American.
