Ruth Bader Ginsburg hospitalized with fever and chills
Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg is once again in the hospital as her health continues to be an issue.
The 86-year-old justice was taken to the hospital due to fever and chills and was admitted. She missed arguments in the court earlier this month due to her health.
“Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg was admitted to Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland, last night after experiencing chills and fever earlier in the day. She was initially evaluated at Sibley Memorial Hospital in Washington, D.C. before being transferred to Johns Hopkins Hospital for further evaluation and treatment of any possible infection,” the Supreme Court announced.
“With intravenous antibiotics and fluids, her symptoms have abated and she expects to be released from the hospital as early as Sunday morning,” the court added.
It’s possible that this is truly an isolated incident. At her age and in her health, a bout with the flu or even a stomach bug can be very dangerous.
But she has been missing court — and she has had cancer multiple times, including twice in just the last couple of years. We should all be in prayer for Ginsburg and for her family.
