Nancy Pelosi calls for investigation into Roger Stone sentencing recommendation

If there’s one thing that’s for certain in 2020 politics, it’s that Democrats won’t stop investigating President Trump until he’s out of office, or they are.

Just days after President Trump’s acquittal by the Senate, Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi is calling for an investigation into President Trump – again.

This time, it’s for the sentencing controversy surrounding the Roger Stone case. The Hill reports:

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif) in a tweet Tuesday night accused President Trump of engaging in “political interference in the sentencing of Roger Stone” and called for an investigation into the Department of Justice (DOJ).

Pelosi was responding to a tweet by President Trump’s complaint’s about the Mueller prosecutor’s extreme sentencing recommendations against Stone.

Stone shouldn’t have lied. But Pelosi’s vengeful obsession with punishing her enemies at all costs has nothing to do with justice, and everything to do with politics.

President Trump isn’t afraid to say just that. Good luck impeaching him for it.
