Michael Flynn’s legal team accuses FBI of entrapment, drops evidence
Michael Flynn, who served in the White House early on in Trump’s administration and was later indicted in the Russia investigation, is finally fighting back.
His legal team just put together damning evidence that alleges he was entrapped – framed, if you will, and never should have faced indictment or conviction.
After reading texts from Peter Strzok and his mistress Lisa Page, his legal team has concluded that the Steele Dossier was used to setup Flynn, even though it was at least partially false, and used as pretext to go investigate him.
They also discussed with others how they could keep Flynn unaware that he was under investigation so he would talk freely – not realizing that he was not just helping his country get to the bottom of an important matter, but that he was being questioned by the FBI and could be indicted.
This shows that they knew they were trying to trap him. And that Flynn truly viewed himself as innocent. That is important — it means that Flynn, if he said something inaccurate, did not do so to mislead the FBI.
Flynn served his country with honor and distinction. It’s wrong that he was targeted and his life ruined just because he served in the Trump administration.
But now the truth is out there, for those who care to know.
