DNC: We’re Not Officially Nominating Joe Biden

In a stunning reversal of mainstream political speculation, Joe Biden is not the automatic Democrat nominee, according an official Democratic National Committee spokesperson.

A communications director for the DNC, Xochitl Hinojosa, told Fox News the Democrats must hold its convention because they are “not officially nominating Joe Biden in order to take Donald Trump.”

“First of all, our convention has to happen,” said Hinojosa, “because we are not officially nominating Joe Biden in order to take Donald Trump. So our convention is happening. There is business that has to happen.”

Once Bernie Sanders dropped out and asked for Democrats to support Biden, the prevailing thought was Biden would be the presumptive nominee. It’s still not clear if Hinojosa misspoke or knows more than the rest of us.
