If President Donald Trump wins a second term, Bill Barr has confirmed he wants to remain as the attorney general.
“Barr told me recently he supports the president and would be inclined to stay if the president wanted him to,” said Richard Cullen as reported by the Washington Examiner.
The relationship between Trump and Barr has been less than rosy at times with the President recently calling it a “disgrace” that Barr predicted no more indictments in 2020 from the Durham investigation.
However, Barr has remained a fairly objective and steady force for the Trump administration and one Trump has shown he can work with.
