California decided that people of faith couldn’t meet in their state due to coronavirus safety precautions.
But a court just overturned that decision.
“Late Friday the Supreme Court delivered two major victories for churches over state COVID-19 restrictions in California, blocking some of the restrictions that Democrat Gov. Gavin Newsom has imposed on houses of worship,” reports Breitbart News.
According to Breitbart, Gavin Newsom has imposed some of the “most draconian restrictions on churches, treating them much worse than the embattled Newsom is treating most other businesses.”
The Supreme Court granted temporary relief by entering a stay will while the Ninth Circuit considers an appeal. Several of the conservative justices delivered joining opinions, each with different reasons for their decision.
Breitbart correctly noted that the “three liberal justices voted to deny the churches any relief against the state government.”
