United States Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg has reportedly left the hospital after a recent procedure this week.
“Justice Ginsburg was discharged from the hospital today,” said a SCOTUS spokesman. “She is home and doing well.”
The 87 year-old Ginsburg has struggled with her health over the past several years leading to much speculation about her possible retirement. Another Supreme Court vacancy would be a huge opportunity for President Donald Trump to cement his legacy on the high court.
However, Ginsburg has all but promised she has no intention of retiring before November.
According to Fox News, Ginsburg “has been undergoing chemotherapy for the last few months due to a recurrence of cancer – which she has battled four times previously.”
