House Speaker Nancy Pelosi is feeling the pressure of the imminent collapse of the impeachment inquiry, and she’s starting to panic.
Pelosi went off the rails on CBS’s “Face The Nation” on Sunday morning, saying what Donald Trump did is “so much worse than even what Richard Nixon did.”
“At some point, Richard Nixon cared about the country enough to recognize that this could not continue.”
She went on to accuse Republicans of being “in denial”, saying that “I really have a real discomfort level of responding to what Republicans say because they are in denial about what has happened in the country. So if you want to ask me about where we’re going on this, I’m happy to respond to that. But I find it a waste of my time and yours to just be talking about what Republicans say.”
She then conveniently dismissed Republican criticism, essentially saying that she won’t dignify Republicans’ concerns about the impeachment proceedings with a response. “I’m not here to talk about what they say because they’re not facing the reality of what is happening to our country,” she said.
And then she finally confirmed what Republicans have known all along, declaring “this is about our democracy that is at risk with this president in the White House.”
House Democrats, led by Nancy Pelosi, are willing to do anything it takes to remove Donald Trump from the White House, regardless of what the truth is, and Nancy Pelosi just announced their intentions to the entire world.
