It’s been over 60 days and Joe Biden has refused to do two things. First, he hasn’t had a press conference since taking office – an unprecedented absence of transparency in modern political history.
But second, he has refused or made no efforts to even speak in person or on the phone with the Senate GOP Leader Mitch McConnell.
That must be Biden’s version of unity – ignoring the other side.
“I haven’t been invited to the White House,” said McConnell. “So far this administration is not interested in doing anything on a bipartisan basis or in the political center. They’d be more than happy to pick off a few of our members. There’s been no efforts whatsoever by the president or the administration to do anything in the political center.”
So campaign Biden preaches togetherness and healing, but president Biden has been secluded and radically partisan.
That’s the Democrat way.
“I don’t believe I’ve spoken with him since he was sworn in,” said McConnell.
