President Trump’s personal lawyer, Rudy Giuliani, was just caught on camera boldly declaring that he’s not afraid of being indicted over alleged misconduct in Ukraine.
The former New York City mayor appeared on Fox’s “America’s News HQ” with host Ed Henry for an interview covering a wide range of subjects.
When Henry asked Giuliani about reports that he was planning to profit off of a proposed natural gas pipeline to Ukraine, he denied the rumor and said he was “not going to financially profit from anything that [he] knows of in the Ukraine.”
Henry probed further, “are you afraid, Mr. Mayor, that you could be indicted?”
Giuliani fired back, “You think I’m afraid? I did the right thing.”
He reiterated that he had no personal business interest in Ukraine, and went on to say that all of his dealings regarding Ukraine were to “exculpate” Trump, saying “what I did was order to defend the president — not to dig up dirt on Biden.”
