Fitton: There is “strong evidence” of criminal misconduct on the part of Hunter Biden

Tom Fitton, president of top government watchdog group Judicial Watch, believes that there is “strong evidence of criminal misconduct” by Hunter Biden in regard to his business activities in Ukraine.

In a recent interview, Fitton explained that the fact that Senate investigators have requested the travel records of the younger Biden points to the fact that there may be a criminal investigation in the works.

Currently, Senators Ron Johnson (R-WI) and Chuck Grassley (R-IA) are leading the Senate investigation into potential wrongdoing on the part of the Biden family and the Obama administration in Ukraine.

“This would be the basic investigative work one would do if you were trying to figure out where Hunter Biden was and who he was traveling with during the Obama presidency,” said Fitton.

Additionally, the Senate has requested that the U.S. Treasury Department turn over bank records known as “suspicious activity reports,” documents filed by financial institutions when money laundering or fraud is suspected.

Of Hunter Biden’s role on the board of Ukrainian energy giant Burisma, Fitton said, “There’s no evidence that it was a legitimate business relationship or that Biden had the background or capability to serve on the board.”

Fitton concluded, “this Biden scandal ain’t going away.” Although the Democrat establishment attempted to turn the Ukraine corruption scandal on the Trump administration, all it did was begin to expose the shady activities of the Bidens and Obama administration in regard to Ukraine.
