Mark Zuckerberg promised he didn’t want to censor politicians.
He begged us to believe Facebook didn’t want to be the “arbiters of truth.”
He claimed there is no bias in the hallowed halls of his organization.
But Zuckerberg is lying to the American people.
His most recent stunt is to literally censor President Donald Trump’s interview on Fox News. The excuse Facebook gave was that Trump relayed “misinformation” about the virus. Specifically, Trump said children have more immunity to COVID 19 than the rest of the population.
While the Trump administration stands by that claim, Facebook removed the video from its platform.
“Social media companies are not the arbiters of truth,” said Courtney Parella. She continued by saying Trump was merely “stating a fact that children are less susceptible to the coronavirus.”
