It’s not just the Republican Party that is displeased with the Biden administration. Democrats have had enough too, and they are reaching out to Biden, begging him to make some changes.
“Senate Democrats begged President Joe Biden to lower seven-year high gas prices by releasing emergency oil reserves,” reported Breitbart News.
Gas prices are through the roof, coming in a triple what consumers paid in 2020. Eight Democrat senators sent letters to the White House asking President Biden do something about it.
“In light of these pressing concerns, we ask that you consider all tools available at your disposal to lower US gasoline prices. This includes a release from the Strategic Petroleum Reserve and a ban on crude oil exports,” senators said in their letters.
The Democrat senators who wrote letters are: Bob Casey of Pennsylvania, Patrick Leahy of Vermont, Elizabeth Warren of Massachusetts, Ed Markey of Massachusetts, Tina Smith of Minnesota, Chris Van Hollen of Maryland, Richard Blumenthal of Connecticut, and Sherrod Brown of Ohio.
Gas price average across the nation is $3.419, according to AAA.
“Despite the increasing expense for American families and workers to fuel vehicles, the White House has blamed OPEC’s supply of oil while attacking domestic production and transport,” reported Breitbart News.
