The coronavirus has struck again.
According to Washington Examiner, “a White House official and a top communications aide to House Speaker Nancy Pelosi who attended the same event last week tested positive for COVID-19.”
Pelosi’s office will be forced to undergo strict virus protocols.
“Yesterday, a fully vaccinated White House official tested positive for COVID-19 off campus,” said a White House official. “We know that there will be breakthrough cases, but as this instance shows, cases in vaccinated individuals are typically mild.”
Per the report:
The Pelosi aide had guided a delegation of Democratic Texas lawmakers around the U.S. Capitol last week after the group fled their state to stop the Texas Legislature from proceeding with GOP-backed voting bills. At least six lawmakers have tested positive for the virus since leaving Austin for Washington. The group was pictured maskless aboard private jets leaving their home state.
