The Democrat and liberal elites have been pouting about a Georgia election law seeking to secure votes within the state. The MLB has moved the annual All Star game over the issue. And Joe Biden has applauded the protests.
Except now he’s going to Georgia in a move seemingly in direct contravention of his earlier statements.
According to Fox News, “President Biden is set to rally in Atlanta later this week to commemorate his 100th day in office, despite criticizing Georgia officials for their sweeping voting legislation and supporting organizations, like Major League Baseball, boycotting the state.”
“The White House announced Monday that President Biden and first lady Jill Biden are set to travel to Atlanta on Thursday to participate in a drive-in car rally to highlight ‘how he has delivered on his promises to the American people.’ Thursday is Biden’s 100th day in office,” reports Fox News.
This is classic leftist strategy. Blatant double speak and hypocrisy is fine because no-one on the left cares. Substance is nothing. Virtue signaling is everything.
