272 Officers In New York Police Department Just Filed For Retirement

The times are sickening display of our culture’s decay. Heroes are being abolished and violence is being praised. And our law enforcement have been lied about and disrespected to the point they are walking off the force.

Specifically, since the tragic George Floyd killing, 272 New York Police Department officers have filed for retirement. I can’t say I blame them.

Sure, there are bad apples and evil people with badges, but the numbers don’t support the unmitigated hatred and violence that is being directed at the men and women in uniform. Society won’t recover if this isn’t remedied quickly.

The 272 number is “a 49% spike from the same time period last year, the department said.”

According to Washington Examiner, NYPD Commissioner Dermot Shea said last week that the criminal justice system in New York City is reaching a “breaking point.”
