The editorial board of the Wall Street Journal has published a new article claiming “no one should ever believe another word” from Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA), the Washington Examiner reported Tuesday.
Schiff made a name for himself during the impeachment proceedings against President Donald Trump. And it wasn’t a good name.
In fact, Schiff came under fire for outright deception. And if anyone thought that reputation was the spin of an out of touch political hack, think again.
The Wall Street Journal is not an excessively right-wing publication nor is its journalistic integrity in question, yet the board, without hesitation, said:
Schiff spread falsehoods shamelessly about Russia and Donald Trump for three years even as his own committee gathered contrary evidence.
The Washington Examiner reported of the WSJ‘s article: “The editorial board noted that the transcripts showed that several top intelligence, law enforcement, and national security officials from the Obama administration all denied seeing evidence of collusion even as Schiff said such evidence did exist.”
Schiff’s political influence has surely taken a dive. I can only hope his days in Congress are soon over.
