Friday was the first time the Space Force flag has been revealed and it’s the first time in 72 years that a new branch of the military unveiled its new flag.

The flag, which mirrors the logo released earlier, is jet black with the Space Force emblem in a blue and silver combo and contains the label “United States Space Force.”

President Trump was joined by the Space Force’s Chief Master Sgt. Roger Towberman who presented the flag.
“We’ve worked very hard on this and it’s so important from a defensive standpoint, from an offensive standpoint, from every standpoint there is,” Trump said.
