Trump Shares Tribute After Death Of Friend Herman Cain

The loss of Herman Cain was felt deeply in the Oval Office.

After the announcement that 74-year old Cain had passed away after contracting coronavirus, President Donald Trump shared a kind tribute on Twitter.

“My friend Herman Cain, a Powerful Voice of Freedom and all that is good, passed away this morning,” Trump said. “Herman had an incredible career and was adored by everyone that ever met him, especially me. He was a very special man, an American Patriot, and great friend.”

Trump then recounted how he and the first lady had just called the Cain family to extend their condolences.

“I just got off the phone with his amazing wife Gloria, daughter, Melanie, and son Vincent to express my deepest condolences to the entire family,” said Trump in his tweet. “@FLOTUS Melania and I loved Herman Cain, a great man. Herman, Rest In Peace!”
