Fox News star Brett Baier accused President Donald Trump of enabling Adam Schiff to add another article of impeachment to the impeachment process.
Donald Trump had blasted Marie Yovanovitch, the former U.S. ambassador to Ukraine, on Twitter.
Confirmed liar Adam Schiff then read the Tweet to the former ambassador, who then explained that she felt it was “very intimidating.”
This, of course, was just another sham act in a sham impeachment proceeding. The Democrats are now literally saying a mean tweet on Twitter is somehow impeachable, because they’re at the point of desperation where they’ll grasp at literally anything to stick it to him.
So how did Brett Baier use this situation to accuse Trump of enabling Schiff? Baier saw the entire dramatic situation play out and then provided the following response to Trump’s tweet:
“That enabled Schiff to then characterize that tweet as intimidating the witness, or tampering with the witness, which is a crime, adding essentially an article of impeachment in real-time as this hearing is going on.”
Of course, this isn’t remotely true. If Democrats are going to use individual tweets in their impeachment articles, that was going to happen regardless.
If anything, I think this is good for the anti-impeachment response, because if this is all the Democrats have, they’ll just look even more foolish than usual.
If the Democrats want a show, I think Donald Trump is going to give them a show for the ages, but it might not end the way they want it to end.
