The left wing continues to pander to the radical anti-Trump crowd with their impeachment blathering. But when it comes to actual policy, they just gave Trump a huge thumbs-up.
The Democrat-controlled House of Representatives just passed Trump’s $1.2 trillion United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement. The deal is President Trump’s promised response to the North American Free Trade Agreement, which Trump has called “NAFTA the Disaster.”
According to U.S. Chamber of Commerce CEO Thomas J. Donohue, the timing of the deal is perfect. He said in a statement:
“USMCA is a welcome gift this holiday season, leveling the playing field for trade in North America and helping U.S. companies and the 12 million workers they employ compete in our top two export markets.”
For his part, President Trump has attacked Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi over the deal, claiming on Twitter this week that she didn’t even know what was in it.
The great USMCA Trade Deal (Mexico & Canada) has been sitting on Nancy Pelosi’s desk for 8 months, she doesn’t even know what it says, & today, after passing by a wide margin in the House, Pelosi tried to take credit for it. Labor will vote for Trump. Trade deal is great for USA!

If it seems like those on the left are talking out of both sides of their mouths by impeaching Trump but then endorsing his trade deals, that’s only because they are. The Democrats stalled the bill for over a year after Trump signed it on Nov. 30, 2018. Now that the bill passed, they are trying to take credit for it. “Of course, we’ll take credit for it,” Pelosi said at a press conference this week, according to Fox Business.
What nonsense.
In any event, Rasmussen puts Trump’s approval numbers today at 50%. Whatever the left is trying to pull over on the American people doesn’t seem to be working.
