Vice President Mike Pence’s top staffer has tested positive for COVID-19.
According to the Washington Examiner, Marc Short, Pence’s chief of staff, will take necessary precautions after being diagnosed with the coronavirus.
In the meantime, Pence and his wife, who both have tested negative for the virus, will continue to campaign.

The announcement comes as the election is now less than 10 days away, and as Pence and President Donald Trump are working aggressively to rebut allegations that they have bungled the nation’s response to the pandemic.
