He’s done it once, and according to Senator Ted Cruz from Texas, he wants to do it again.
Of course, I’m talking about running for President of the United States.
“I don’t know for sure. I’d hope to run again,” Cruz said in a recent interview with the Washington Post. “I got to say, in 2016 we came very, very close. And it’s the most fun I’ve ever had in my life. I am committed to the principles I’m fighting for. I believe passionately in free enterprise and the U.S. Constitution. And so in the Senate, that’s what I’m fighting for. And we may see another campaign in the future as well.”

Given his past, it seems clear that Cruz would be a front runner in 2024 alone with fellow Texans, Gov. Abbott and Rep. Dan Crenshaw.
