In the same way that the sexual misconduct hearings against Supreme Court Nominee Brett Kavanaugh backfired spectacularly for Democrats last year, the impeachment movement against President Trump seems to be backfiring on Democrats as well.
In fact, the movement to impeach Trump is helping Republicans raise more money than ever before. Donald Trump’s son, Eric, reports that Republicans have raised over $15 million since Pelosi began talking about impeaching his father.
On Twitter, Eric proclaimed:
“We have now raised almost $15 million in small dollar donations (including 50,000 NEW donors) since @SpeakerPelosi started this impeachment charade 72 hrs ago! Unbelievable numbers!! Keep it going — you and the dems are handing @realDonaldTrump the win in 2020!”
Not only are Republicans raising a lot of money, but Trump seems to be succeeding in fundraising for his election campaign as well. According to Trump’s campaign manager, Brad Parscale:
“In the 24 hours since news of Nancy Pelosi’s impeachment announcement, @realDonaldTrump’s campaign & @GOP have BLOWN OUT fundraising… $5 Million combined in 24 hrs.”
This kind of momentum ahead of a presidential election is unbelievable. Trump already had a huge advantage for 2020 by being the incumbent. But now, it looks like Democrats are just handing him huge political victories that are sure to help him secure more support than ever before.
Democrats have made a huge mistake. And these stats are the proof in the pudding.
QUESTION OF THE DAY:
Do YOU think Trump will win in 2020?
Tell me what you really think.
Until next time,
PS: Democrat presidential candidate Beto O’Rourke has promised that if he becomes president, he’s going to CONFISCATE all AR-15s.
Well, I have a message for him. COME AND TAKE IT.
