Report: Pelosi May Retire If Democrats Don’t Win The House

A stunning report is predicting that Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) may retire if Democrats lose the House in November.

While most experts agree that the likelihood of a change in control is slim, it certainly is not impossible for Republicans to take over the lower chamber — and there is a lot of time between voting day and now.

But that’s not all.

According to the source of the theory, Republican Alabama Rep. Mike Rogers, Pelosi may also retire if President Donald Trump is re-elected. That is a much more plausible scenario based on current polling.

“I think it depends on how the election turns out,” Rogers said in a recent interview, according to Breitbart. “You know, she made a deal with the devil in the last cycle that if they let her be speaker for two more terms, she would retire. She’s 80 years old right now. She’ll be 82 in one more term, assuming they keep the majority.”

He went on: “But, you know, these folks are very unreasonable. They’re very unhappy. And we had the same dilemma when we were in the majority with the Freedom Caucus. They could not be completely satisfied, and they were the reason we couldn’t pass legislation.”
