Murder Charge Formally Lodged Against Second Person In Killing Of David Dorn

A spokesperson for St. Louis Circuit Attorney Kim Gardner confirmed that a second man has been formally charged in the tragic murder of retired St. Louis police Capt. David Dorn.

President Donald Trump called the killers “despicable looters” on June 2, in the immediate aftermath of Dorn’s killing, tweeting:

“Our highest respect to the family of David Dorn, a Great Police Captain from St. Louis, who was viciously shot and killed by despicable looters last night,” Trump tweeted. “We honor our police officers, perhaps more than ever before. Thank you!”

The accused, Mark Jackson, is reportedly a resident of St. Louis, and he has been charged with second-degree murder, robbery, burglary, and armed criminal action charges.

Another man, Stephan Cannon, has already been charged with first-degree murder, robbery, and other offenses in connection with Dorn’s death, according to Breitbart.
