Reports are alleging that Joe Biden will name Cindy McCain to be U.S. ambassador to the United Kingdom.
McCain, the widowed wife of the late Republican Sen. John McCain (AZ), has long been a vocal critic of President Donald Trump. And it appears her conduct is not without a “reward.”
Breitbart News reported Saturday: “[Cindy] McCain, 66, a lifelong Republican and Anglophile, is credited with delivering the state of Arizona during the 2020 elections to the Democrats in the state where her husband served as Arizona’s senator from 1987 until his death from cancer in 2018.” For that reason, one Biden insider reportedly said the job is “hers if she wants it.”
Although her husband was a lifelong Republican, Cindy McCain endorsed Joe Biden for the presidency.
My husband John lived by a code: country first. We are Republicans, yes, but Americans foremost. There’s only one candidate in this race who stands up for our values as a nation, and that is @JoeBiden.
