Rev. Franklin Graham is letting it be known what he’s grateful for this holiday season.
“This Thanksgiving, I’m thankful for President Donald J. Trump’s appointment of three conservative Supreme Court justices who ruled late last night in favor of churches and against government overreach in the state of New York,” the Christian leader said in a Facebook post Thursday, according to Breitbart.
Graham noted that Trump-appointed “Justice Neil Gorsuch strongly criticized the court’s previous approach. He wrote: ‘It is time — past time — to make plain that, while the pandemic poses many grave challenges, there is no world in which the Constitution tolerates color-coded executive edicts that reopen liquor stores and bike shops but shutter churches, synagogues, and mosques.'”
The reverend concluded: “May God protect our nation from the storms that are on the horizon.”
