Former Andrew Cuomo staffer Charlotte Bennett has revealed the truth about New York’s Democratic governor — and Cuomo can feel the walls closing in.
According to Fox News, Bennett, “one of two former staffers who has accused New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo of workplace sexual harassment, said in an interview that aired on TV Friday evening she was ‘terrified’ after he allegedly propositioned her for sex in his office and called on him to resign.”
“If this investigation finds that he has conducted himself this way, which he absolutely has because I have contemporaneous evidence, he should step down,” Bennett reportedly said.
I must give Bennett credit for encouraging a full investigation before a response.
“Without explicitly saying it, he implied to me that I was old enough for him and he was lonely,” Bennett recalled of Cuomo.
Charlotte Bennett tells us after she reported Gov. Cuomo for sexual harassment, she was transferred to a new job.
BENNETT: It felt to me like, if I got a new job, we didn’t have to investigate this. And I really did not want it to be investigated. I was terrified. pic.twitter.com/DvgglfWxRt
