When it comes to the COVID-19 pandemic, New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo (D) has made a lot of wrong moves — and now, they may finally be coming back to bite him.
On Thursday, Fox News Channel’s Janice Dean called for law enforcement to begin an “independent, bipartisan investigation, with subpoena power, to get the governor and his health commissioner on the stand to tell the whole truth and nothing but the truth.”
Dean’s comments came on the heels of a new report from New York’s attorney general that alleged the number of coronavirus-related deaths in the state’s nursing homes is actually much higher than first reported.
“We want the answers,” Dean said Thursday, according to Breitbart. “But we also want accountability from this governor, his administration, and his health department.”
The Fox star’s in-laws died from COVID-19 complications last year after living in a New York eldercare facility — and she’s been on Cuomo’s case ever since.
“The report today, I’m hopeful, is the start of a bigger investigation into this governor and his administration,” Dean said, as Breitbart reported.
