Congressman Elijah Cummings is dead. The representative for Maryland’s 7th Congressional district was only 68 years old when he passed away at John Hopkins Hospital on Thursday.
His office has finally revealed Cummings died due to complications from one of his many ongoing medical issues.
His office wrote the following statement to the public:
“At approximately 2:45 A.M. on Thursday October 17, 2019, Congressman Elijah E. Cummings (MD-07) passed away at John Hopkins Hospital due to complications concerning longstanding health challenges. More details forthcoming.”
President Trump, who had long taken public stands against Cummings over his far-left political beliefs, set politics aside by releasing the following heartwarming statement on Twitter:
“My warmest condolences to the family and many friends of Congressman Elijah Cummings. I got to see first hand the strength, passion and wisdom of this highly respected political leader. His work and voice on so many fronts will be very hard, if not impossible, to replace!”
Undoubtedly, Cummings death has been a huge hit to the Democrat Party. He was one of the central figures in the impeachment inquiry against President Trump – and now he’s gone.
What happens next is anyone’s guess. But one fact remains certain: Impeaching Trump will now be harder for Democrats than ever before.
QUESTION OF THE DAY:
Are YOU think the impeachment inquiry will fail?
Email me what you REALLY think. I can’t wait to hear your thoughts on the subject.
PS: Democrat presidential candidate Beto O’Rourke has promised that if he becomes president, he’s going to CONFISCATE all AR-15s.
Well, I have a message for him. COME AND TAKE IT.
