The Vice President of the United States isn’t doing it.
“A plane carrying Vice President Kamala Harris was forced to return to Joint Base Andrews in Maryland Sunday about 25 minutes after it had taken off for a trip to Guatemala,” Fox News reports.
The return trip is an accurate metaphor for Harris’ work — or lack thereof — on the migrant crisis at the nation’s southern border. Despite having been tasked with handling America’s response to the crisis almost three months ago, the vice president has yet to give a single press conference on the topic.

Fox’s report said there were no safety issues and that the matter was “technical,” and Harris later made it to Guatemala’s capital. However, a real safety issue remains on America’s borders — and Kamala is silent.
It’s time to act.
