ABC Suspends Reporter Who Admitted Supervisors Don’t Let Him Report Truth

Just when we think the bias in the mainstream media can’t get any worse, we get proven wrong yet again. Senior ABC News correspondent David Wright was just suspended by the network after being caught on film admitting that he was blocked from reporting on certain true things, according to Breitbart.

To be clear, Wright is an admitted socialist who would be thrilled to see Bernie Sanders in the White House. But the problem is that Wright admitted much more than that in a video recently released by Project Veritas.

“I feel terrible about it,” Wright said, speaking about the coverage of politics by his employer, ABC News. “I feel that the truth suffers, the voters are poorly informed and people have the opportunity to tune into whatever they want to hear.”

He went on: “It’s like there’s no upside in, or our bosses, don’t see an upside in doing the job we’re supposed to do; which is to speak truth to power and hold people accountable.”

In a candid outburst, Wright revealed that such coverage is not good for American democracy. “I don’t think we’re terribly interested in voters,” he said. “In addition to the candidate of the week, we need the story to move on. We’re happy to have [Pete] Buttigieg be the story last week and we’re happy to have [Amy] Klobuchar as a new subject this week, and then when we’re tired of her we’ll be delighted if Elizabeth Warren kicks a** in Nevada because then we have something new to talk about.”

Wright says ABC isn’t the only media company doing this.

We’re all guilty of the same thing,” he lamented. “I think that all of the big news organizations… ABC, CBS, NBC.”
