Roger Stone’s got a new t-shirt, but he’s not making a fashion statement. He’s sending a message of defiance to special counsel Robert Mueller.
A day after Stone was arrested and charged with process crimes in connection with Mueller’s Russia collusion investigation, the colorful confidant of President Trump emerged from his home in good spirits and sporting his new attire.
On the front, the shirt read, “Roger Stone Did Nothing Wrong.” On the back, “IF I WEREN’T EFFECTIVE, YOU WOULDN’T HATE ME. STONE COLD SINCE 1968.”
Stone maintains that his indictment is “thin” and “fabricated,” and vows he will not be bullied into bearing “false witness against the President, nor will I make up lies to ease the pressure on myself. I look forward to being fully and completely vindicated.”
