Whoa: Michelle Obama Scandal Blows Wide Open

Former First Lady Michelle Obama was just caught red-handed. She’s part of a major scandal, and it’s blown wide open. There’s no escape.

Obama’s former chief of staff, Tina Tchen, refused to accept a subpoena related to the now-infamous Jussie Smollett case. Tchen exchanged suspicious communication just before Smollett’s charges were dropped.

The subpoena calls for “any and all documents, notes, phone records, texts, tape recordings made or received at any time, concerning [Tchen’s] conversations with Kim Foxx in re: Jussie Smollett.”

Foxx, as we know, is the Illinois state attorney who was supposed to be prosecuting Smollett, but she eventually announced that he would be let off the hook. Foxx and Tchen’s contact with each other cannot be ignored.

Tchen argued that she reached out to Foxx “as a family friend” of Smollet’s “to put the chief prosecutor in the case in touch with an alleged victim’s family who had concerns about how the investigation was being characterized in public.”

It’s a convenient story, which is why the subpoena was served in the first place by former Illinois Appellate Judge Sheila O’Brien. Communication records must be exposed in order to discover the truth, which could trace all the way back to Michelle Obama herself.
