President Donald Trump was serenaded in the White House Rose Garden as a surprise for his 73rd birthday on Saturday, the Daily Mail reported. He was in the Rose Garden to speak about health coverage options for employers and workers through health reimbursement arrangements.
The crowd sang “Happy Birthday!” amid cheers and shouts. Trump looked delighted at the gesture.
“Very, very nice,” he said. He then told reporters that he planned to work on his birthday, but that he would have some cake later.
All of Trump’s adult children posted well wishes to their dad on Instagram along with photos of themselves and their children with him. Trump has five children and nine grandchildren. His youngest son Barron does not have any public social media accounts.
Trump was born on Flag Day and was shown in various media outlets hugging an American flag.
