On February 15, President Joe Biden had a bee in his bonnet while giving a speech about Russian President Vladimir Putin, warning Vladimir not to invade Ukraine.
Despite acknowledging that he had received word from the Russian defense minister that they would send troops home from the border of Ukraine, Biden remained skeptical. “That would be good, but we have not verified that,” said Sleepy Joe.
Biden also had some words straight for the Russians watching on television. “To the citizens of Russia: you are not our enemy, and I don’t believe you want a bloody, destructive war against Ukraine.”
Despite not wanting a bloody war, that’s exactly what Biden promised the Russian people if they’re government makes the wrong move.
“If Russia targets Americans in Ukraine, we will respond forcefully,” Biden concluded. “If Russia attacks Ukraine, it will be a war of choice or a war without cause or a reason. It’s about standing what we believe in and the future we want for our world. I will not pretend this will be painless. There could be impact on our energy prices.”
