Fox News correspondent Benjamin Hall was injured in a deadly attack last month while he was in Ukraine reporting on the Russia invasion.
The reporter had kept his condition quiet since the day of the attack.
Until now.
Hall released a statement on his condition on April 7.
“To sum it up, I’ve lost half a leg on one side and a foot on the other, one hand is being put together, one eye is no longer working, and my hearing is pretty blown… but all in all, I feel pretty damn lucky to be here – and it is the people who got me here who are amazing!”
Hall was with his colleagues Pierre Zakrzewski and Oleksandra “Sasha” Kuvshinova at the time of the attack.
Neither Zakrzewski, a Fox News camerman; or Kuvshinova, a Ukrainian journalist, survived the attack.
