News is spreading nationwide about a Ukraine bombshell, and Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA) is heartbroken. The witness he called up to testify against President Trump has turned out to be a dud.
Fiona Hill, who served as Trump’s adviser on Russia until leaving the White House, reportedly resigned before the phone call between Trump and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky — yet she was still called in by the Democrats.
Why bring Hill in to testify behind closed doors against Trump, even though she wasn’t around for the phone call that precipitated the Democrats’ impeachment inquiry? This is a question many people are asking now.
Come to find out, there could be at least one reason: Hill’s reported ties to billionaire socialist George Soros. Her resume highlights that she worked for six years (2000-2006) for the Open Society Institute, one of Soros’ organizations.
This could explain why Schiff was eager to bring her in — for her left-wing political connections and potentially being a useful tool to continue this witch-hunt against Trump.
Ironically, Democrats and the liberal media have boasted that Hill was a “top adviser” to Trump, but they are clearly overplaying her role. Hill also appeared to express her concerns over Trump’s firing of Ukraine Ambassador Marie Yavanovitch.
