“What I can tell you is, all of our discussions internally, between the president and our team, and our contacts and my office with Ukraine, were entirely focused on the broader issues of the lack of European support and corruption,” Pence said.
Pence reiterated that Zelensky has said repeatedly that there was no pressure. Other reports have also said that the investigation into Biden was reopened months before Trump’s phone call with Zelensky, and that Zelensky did not know that aid was being withheld because of possible corruption when the phone call happened.
Why can’t Democrats get over the fact that they have no evidence and that Trump’s phone call was, in fact, very routine and along the lines of what all presidents have done for a very long time?
